Hello all! Welcome to the newest Jhonen Vasquez Fan-club, JCV-comicsclub!

The-Rabid-improviser and I (Lorthezeldanerd), have recently discovered that many of the JTHM/JV clubs here on dA are fairly dead and that it's time for a new face on the scene. So.. here we are!
We welcome fanart from any comic series done by Jhonen Vasquez!

NEWS FLASH!

Yes...katie the child with dial-up internet went and uploaded a whole Sh!^ load of your lovely submissions! It took a while but ...but it is done...
such delay will not happen again...
I'm going to stay on top of things and such... so ...keep them coming!<i/>

Contests

who ever catches pageview 777 will get a prize...
from lor and katie ...of the jhonen variety
( we will craft it using magic and the blood of the innocent!)
so yes...more development on that as it comes in...

Also... i'm thinking a calender every month would be splendid....
so we could have a contest for that...

Look! Lor got off her ass and uploaded some of the pictures she did that she had on her computer!
Other members work will be uploaded soon too....if she ever gets around to it. D:

~Well.. we have sumbissions comming in! HUZZAH!
Also..if they don't get uploaded right away...its because either Lor is really lazy or she's busy with summer school... or Miss. Rabid Improviser is busy working.
~I know one of the rules is "No OC's" but we will allow fanart from JTHM/IFS/Squee related fanfiction. (Yep.. were sucking up to all you 'Vargas' fans.)
Another thing abut sumbissions...if a picture is just in a Jhonen-esque style, it may not be uploaded. We would prefer that it is direct fan art but, it'll vary from situation to situation. *shrug*

Now that we have members....Let's get uploading! If anyone has any pictures the want added to the club, send a note either to the club or to The-rabid-improviser/Lorthezeldanerd...or we'll hunt you down like a small furry animal.
(No..I kid about the small furry animal part....)
So yes... club sumbissions are great.
Send them in.

1: Be nice! Don't flame other users and keep hurtfull comments to yourself!
2: We're not a slash club but we'll allow it. Please, keep any romance (slash or het) to a minimum though.
3: All submissions must be related to one of Jhonen Vasquez's COMIC series. No Invader Zim.. sorry guys!
4: Please note the club when you have a submission.
5: PLEASE! No OC's! (check the News Flash for more info on this one)

If you wish to join you should:
a) add us to you watch list
b) put our icon in your journal
c) Send us a note saying you wish to join.
d) ...Refer friends? YES! ._. we're kinda new here so we need a boost. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!! ... *blink* ^_^; <3

Oh! and I'm pretty sure we're going to need you permission to post your pictures so... Note us with your permission. It should look something like this:
I, "username", hereby give my full permission to the JCV-comicsclub to upload all my club related deviations on Deviantart.
